Dr. Parzyan discussed the Cybersecurity Strategy of Armenia at the American University of Armenia
YEREVAN, Armenia – On April 30, 2019, the American University of Armenia (AUA) Political Science and International Affairs (PSIA) program held the Inaugural Workshop on Small States Studies. The event was a result of systematic preparations and dialogue with the Center for Small State Studies (CSSS) at the University of Iceland. Preparatory discussions with CSSS were conducted by PSIA program Chair Associate Professor Dr. Vahram Ter-Matevosyan and Dr. Narek Mkrtchyan, AUA Adjunct Lecturer, Coordinator of the Initiative for Small State Studies (ISSS), and Member of National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
Dr. Parzyan discussed the Cybersecurity Strategy of Armenia. According to her, technological advancement in cyberspace presupposes that small states would face existing internal and external security challenges in the security environment. She proposed several tactics for creating the National Cybersecurity Strategy of Armenia for tackling those domestic, regional, and international challenges in cyberspace.
