Mher D. Sahakyan is  the founding director of the China‑Eurasia Council for Political and Strategic Research (CECPSR) in Armenia. He has been a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University. He is a founding editor of the Routledge Research in Eurasian Geopolitics book series, established in 2025. He holds a PhD in international relations from Nanjing University.
