Mher Sahakyan Introduced his research on China’s BRI and South Caucasus at the Asia Global Institute of University of Hong Kong
On October 3, Dr. Mher Sahakyan, AsiaGlobal Fellow of Asia Global Institute (University of Hong Kong) and the head of the “China-Eurasia” Council for Political and Strategic Research, presented his research on “China’s Belt and Road Initiative and South Caucasus in the Multipolar World Order 2.0 ” during Intra-Fellow seminar organized by Asia Global Institute.
He analyzed China’s logistic, economic, political and energy cooperation with Azerbaijan and Georgia in the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. Dr. Sahakyan also introduced infrastructure development projects in China-Central Asia-Western Asia Economic Corridor. He also provided several recommendations for strengthening Sino-Armenian cooperation in the framework of Belt and Road Initiative.
The presentation was followed by a discussion on both the topic of research and the methods used by Mher Sahakyan.
