CECPSR Welcomes Dr. Giorgio Caridi to the Advisory Board of the Eurasian Research on Modern China and Eurasia Conference

The CECPSR welcomes Dr. Giorgio Caridi as a new member of the Advisory Board of the Eurasian Research on Modern China and Eurasia Conference. He has enthusiastically contributed to the IV, V & VI edition of the Conference and continues to cooperate with members of the international research network. He contributed to the Routledge Handbook of China’s Belt and Road Initiative and Eurasia (2025) with the chapter Rethinking Italy–China Cooperation in the Belt and Road Initiative: The Communication’s Impact in the Italian Case Study.”; to the book Routledge Handbook of Chinese and Eurasian International Relations (2024) with the chapter Tackling Environmental Worries and Social Tensions in Italy and China through E-Government Systems.”; and to the book China and Eurasian Powers in a Multipolar World Order 2.0 (2023) with the chapter BRI’s Digital Silk Road and the EU: The role of innovation and communication in the Italian case study.” 

Giorgio Caridi is Adjunct Professor in the Department of Economics and in the Department of Law at E-Campus University (Italy), and in the Department of Political Science at ICES – Institut catholique de Vendée (France). Giorgio holds a PhD in Communication, Intercultural affairs and Complex organizations, together with an MBA in Management, and two master’s degrees, respectively in Business Economics and in Artificial Intelligence for Science and Technology. His current research focus is on the growing Sino-EU relations, Communication, and the impact of Innovation on the Eurasian productive system. In addition to the chapter in international books, he has published widely in Italian journals, as Cyberspazio e Diritto, Sindacalismo, and Diritto e Diritti. His research integrates survey-based analysis, mixed qualitative and quantitative methods, and fieldwork to examine Italy’s role across the Eurasian continent and its relationships with the EU and China.
