Academic Conference: Eurasian Research on Modern China and Eurasia
Sixth Edition
Dates: December 5-6, 2025
The China and Eurasia Conference offers a platform to establish an academic network, exchange research ideas, compare perspectives and methodologies, and promote interdisciplinary dialogue. This year, the China and Eurasia Conference will primarily focus on the Eurasian (Continent) geopolitical, geoeconomic and high-technology security issues in the Multipolar World Order 2.0 era. The Conference is open to representatives of other Chinese and Eurasian discipline studies.
Organizers: “China-Eurasia” Council for Political and Strategic Research, Foundation
With a legacy of five successful editions held in Yerevan (2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023), our Conference has united international scholars, diplomats, and thinkers, propelling us to delve deeper into the dynamics that define our ever-evolving world.
As a result of the previous conferences (2018-2019), we united team, and in 2020, we prepared China and Eurasia: Rethinking Cooperation and Contradictions in the Era of Changing World Order book (Ed. Mher Sahakyan and Heinz Gärtner), which Routledge published in September 2021. It is indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus.
After the 2021 conference, we united a new team. On March 31, 2023, Routledge published the book China and Eurasian Powers in a Multipolar World Order 2.0: Security, Diplomacy, Economy and Cyberspace (Ed. Mher Sahakyan). It is indexed in the Web of Science.
After the 2022 Conference, our international team worked on the Routledge Handbook of Chinese and Eurasian International Relations(Ed. Mher Sahakyan), which Routledge published in 2024. It is indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus.
After the 2023 Conference, our international team worked on the Routledge Handbook of China’s Belt and Road Initiative in Eurasia (Ed. Mher Sahakyan and Kevin Lo), which Routledge published in 2025. It is indexed in the Scopus.
The participants will present their research during thematic panels. Each speaker will deliver a paper in English.
