London, United Kingdom, September 2023 – The British Association for Chinese Studies (BACS) recently concluded its highly anticipated annual conference, which took place on September 7-8, 2023, at the esteemed King’s College London. The conference brought together prominent scholars from leading universities and institutions to showcase their cutting-edge research in the field of Chinese Studies.

Dr. Mher Sahakyan, the Director of the China-Eurasia Council for Political and Strategic Research, was among the distinguished scholars invited to present his groundbreaking research. Dr. Sahakyan’s presentation, titled “The US Sanctions on China’s and Russia’s Advanced Technology Sectors: Decoupling and Coupling,” delved into the intricate dynamics of international relations and the evolving technological landscape in the Multipolar World Order 2.0 era. It is a part of extended research, which he implemented during his AsiaGlobal Fellowship at the Asia Global Institute of the University of Hong Kong. Professor Gary Rawnsley, Head of the School of Social and Political Sciences of Lincoln University, expertly chaired the panel.
