Meet Professor Yuntian Zheng, Advisory Board member of the Eurasian Research on Modern China and Eurasia Conference. He has actively contributed to the II, IV, V, and VI edition of the Conference, and Armenia-China Forum, He continues to collaborate with members of the Eurasian Continent Research Association . Zheng contributed to the China and Eurasia Rethinking Cooperation and Contradictions in the Era of Changing World Order with chapter “Building a community with a shared future for mankind The new international vision of the Chinese development model” and contributed to the China and Eurasian Powers in a Multipolar World Order 2.0 Security, Diplomacy, Economy and Cyberspace with chapter “Comprehensive analysis of Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party over the Past Century”

Zheng Yuntian (郑云天) holds a PhD from the Tsinghua University. He is professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of International Studies, Renmin University of China (RUC). He is director of the World Socialism Institute in RUC, senior research fellow of the School of Global and Area Studies (RUC), also executive member of the council in Chinese Association of International Communist Movement, vice chairman and secretary general of Beijing Association of International Communist Movement, academic committee member of “China-Eurasia” Council for Political and Strategic Research (Armenia), member of GNFCC (The Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation Commission of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Shanghai Cooperation Organization), etc.
His main research areas are contemporary China studies, Eurasian geopolitics and BRI research in Central Asia and South Caucasus. Over the years, he has hosted and been in charge of several national research programs. The representative academic achievements are as follows.
Authored several books independently, most recently South Caucasus in the Changing World Order (CASS Press, 2024);
The Area Study of the Belt and Road Initiative: Analysis on Armenian Geopolitics (CASS Press, 2023);
The Area Study of the Belt and Road Initiative: Analysis on Azerbaijan Geopolitics (CASS Press, 2023); and
Geopolitical Security of Georgia under the Game of Great Powers (CASS Press, 2020).
Zheng published over 30 academic papers on several prestigious publications in China, including People’s Daily, Guangming Daily, PLA Daily, Economics Daily, Beijing Daily, Hongqi Wengao, Teaching and Research, Contemporary World and Socialism, etc.
He is also the core editing committee member of the textbook for Chinese post-graduates, Scientific Socialism (Second and Third Edition) of National Marxist Theoretical Research and Construction Project.
