Call for Nominations: “ECRA Best Eurasian Book” Award 2026
Books that examine Eurasian international relations, geopolitics, security issues, economic corridors, transportation infrastructure, and high-technology developments are eligible for nomination for the “ECRA Best Eurasian Book” Award.
Eligibility
- Nominations may only be submitted by Global Partners of the Eurasian Continent Research Association (ERCA).
- Nominees must also be Global Partners of ERCA.
- For the 2026 award cycle, books published between January 2024 and November 2026 are eligible.
Nomination Process
- An ERCA member may nominate a book authored by another ERCA member.
- The nomination must include a clear justification explaining why the book deserves to receive the award.
- Nominations must be submitted via email to the Award Committee Chair, Mher D. Sahakyan, by November 10, 2026.
- Following the nomination, three hard copies of the book must be sent to Yerevan, Armenia. To obtain the mailing address, please contact: info@chinastan.org
Prize
The winner will be announced at the Annual Eurasian Research on Modern China and Eurasia Conference. The recipient will receive:
- A Certificate of Honour for the “Best Eurasian Book” Award, and
- One publication from the ERCA research team.
